Beginner’s Guide to Sewing – How to Use an Edgestitch Foot for Neat Topstitching

Do you go cold at the thought of topstitching, run for the hills if it’s in a contrast thread colour?!

To get neat, accurate topstitching every time without increasing your blood pressure use an edge stitch foot (also sometimes called a topstitch foot or edge guide). I show you what they look like and how to use one in the next of my Beginner’s Guide to Sewing series of Youtube video tutorials filmed with Cico.

Like the overcasting foot from my last video, these tend not to come as standard with most machines, but are available separately for under £20.
