How to use an overcasting, overlock or overedge foot to get super neat seam allowances is the next in my Beginner’s Guide to Sewing series of Youtube video tutorials filmed with Cico.

I’ve talked about the benefits of using this foot before here but it’s great to finally have a video so you can see it in action and appreciate its true wonder!

They tend not to come as standard with most sewing machines, but it’s definitely worth investing in one. Make sure you find the correct one for your make and model machine, they’re not universal.  Most cost around £15ish.
