Day 4 on the Beginner’s Guide to Sewing With Knitted Fabrics blog tour was Kerry and another gorgeous Kinder cardigan in this popular Atelier Brunette fabric from Minerva (generous sponsors of the tour). Read Kerry’s full review here and see her initial tester version of the cardigan in a cute in-between length that I now really want to try!
Today it’s day 5 of the tour and is the turn of the lovely Marilla Walker and have a guess what she made……..
…..a mid length Kinder cardigan in, yes, that Atelier Brunette fabric again!! I do love that mid length – perfect with jeans. Have a read of Marilla’s full review of the book here.
Don’t forget, the only place you can get signed a copy of the book is direct from me here.
Tomorrow it’s Beth of Sew DIY, will it be a Kinder cardigan, will it be Atelier Brunette fabric, will it feel like groundhog day?!
Love your blog….trying to proceed with stretch, but no luck…I have a janomes xc33 Special Edition….which is stretch stitch on this model……please help!!!!

I’m not familiar with that specific model but look for a stitch that looks like a combination of a straight stitch and zigzag stitch and start from there! Also have a read of this blog post that has more specific help: https://wendyward.wordpress.com/2013/10/27/how-to-sew-jersey-fabrics-on-a-domestic-sewing-machine-part-1-seams/
