Sewing Basics for Every Body Book Tour – Day 4 The Kim Project

Sewing basics for every body

Welcome back to Day 4 of my Sewing Basics for Every Body introductions.

Now, what could be more “easy like Sunday morning” than a jumpsuit?! A whole coordinated outfit in one go without thinking about it. Roll out of bed, roll into your jumpsuit and you’re ready to face your world!!

There are 3 versions in the book but once you realise how easy it is to make, you’ll probably come up with a few more.

THE BOILER SUIT

I made this traditional boiler suit style in denim with classic workwear detailing – topstitching, lots of pockets, classic collar and cuff styling. Wear it loose or belted.

SLEEVELESS COVERALLS

Just cool, comfortable and easy to layer.

This version has a waistband with belt loops and a simple mandarin collar.

JUMPSUIT

This version has an easy flat Peter Pan collar, pleated sleeves and cuffs and an elasticated waistband which all give a more fitted silhouette than the traditional boiler suit and sleeveless coveralls.

I’ll share the last project in the book with you tomorrow……the day before publication!!

Don’t forget to order your signed copy of Sewing Basics for Every Body here.  You can see more inside the book in this post. And there’s still time to enter my worldwide competition to win one of 4 signed copies here.
