Somehow the sleeve facing pattern piece for the Dylan coat in my new book Sewing Basics For Every Body managed to escape when I was organising my pattern grading. Consequently it was missed off the pattern sheets in the book, argh.
I know, I’m sorry, I strive for perfection, but on this occasion it eluded me. However, I discovered my mistake (I found the rogue pattern piece hiding down the back of my pattern cutting table…..), I’ve now graded it and the pattern pieces can be downloaded by clicking on the image above.
You can choose to print just the size you need and the layout will fit on A4 or US letter sized paper. You will just need to join the two parts together where shown with a dashed line and scissors to make the complete pattern piece.
Proves I’m only human I suppose….!!
Oh dear – I don’t have access to a printer! Is there any way I can draft the facing myself?

Of course! Just pin together (on the seam line) the sleeve pieces at the back sleeve seam (not the underarm seam) and trace off the depth of facing that you want.
