- I'm on the @craftindustryalliance podcast!! Just head to the link in their bio to visit the website and choose podcast from the menu.Stitching with others is so bloody brilliant!!! A few snapshots from today's Scrappy Collage workshop at Grace's gorgeous new @beyond_measure_uk space. These pics perfectly sum up today for me: enjoying cloth and thread and each other / appreciating how each person has their own unique textile & thread handwriting / realising how much of ourselves goes into each stitch / reframing perceived "imperfections" as the things that make us "us" / feeling the benefits and joy of slowing down, focusing on the process instead of the end result and being willing to go where the process takes us.Beginnings.Some proper introductions to our beautiful hens who have now been with us for a whole week (already feels like they've always been here 🥰): 1 - Clara - first into everything 2 - Frida - big and blousey 3 - Barbara - gobby show-off 😆

There have been lots of exciting developments going on here in the last few months. I’m fairly good at keeping secrets, but am now very glad that I can get one off my chest……*little drumroll and fanfare*
I’m now selling my leather necklaces, badges and Christmas decorations on http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/partners/afterwardbywendyward/products
There are more exciting developments afoot with my classes, but that will have to wait until another day…
I’ve got some work for sale in a Christmas Open House this year, along. It’s in Five Ways in Brighton and full details are below.
I’ll be there on Sunday 27th November from 11am – 2.30pm, come and say hello!
So much warmer than gloves and so much more fun! No two pairs are the same.
Get them at Laste on Bond Street in the North Laine. When they’re gone, they’re gone…
I’ve been busy adding some new pieces to my Etsy shop. I found some amazing metallic bronze leather earlier this year and here’s how it turned out…
I also decided to try some new badge shapes for this batch…
Lacey leather collars. In black, cream and metallic bronze leathers. A few new animal badges too. My last batch of new collars and badges turned out so nice I’d quite like to keep most of them for myself. But that would be a bit daft wouldn’t it?! I’ll definitely be having a bronze lace collar to finish off my outfit for this year’s batch of weddings though.
I’ve updated my Etsy shop with new stock and revised P&P charges. There are lots of bunnies hopping about in there.
A little foray into recycled leather.
Come and have a look and say hello at the Makers Boutique market on Saturday 16th April at Brighton Unitarian church (centre of town on New Road at the back of the pavilion gardens).
