A Review of the Longley Cardigan Pattern

Looking for that perfect in-between-seasons project?  My Longley cardigan pattern might just be for you and Fiona of Diary of a Chainstitcher blog has just made a gorgeous version which she’s blogged about along with a review of the pattern.

Spoiler: I think she loved it! Here are some of the lovely things Fiona says about the pattern.

“When the construction is as well thought out as this getting professional looking results is very satisfying.”

“The finishing of the Longley is a real selling point for me and I highly recommend it as a cracking pattern to try if you are looking for a similar style.”

Read her full review here. You can also read more reviews of the Longley pattern here and get your copy of the pattern here.

20% Off at MIY Collection For 5 Mins of Your Time

review-01

I hope you’ve had a super Christmas and are looking forward to 2016.  I’m making the most of some time away from teaching to do a few long overdue jobs, one of which has been to improve the MIY Collection online shop with the addition of a review facility.

We all like reviews don’t we? And we take notice of them, so I’m asking you lovely people if you will take just a few minutes to write a review of any products you have bought from MIY Collection. You can have bought them online, direct from me at MIY Workshop, at a show or from another shop who stocks MIY Collection.

And honestly, it’s really easy – you don’t need to create an account or anything, just go to www.miycollection.com and find the product you want to leave a review for then:

  • click on “write a review” under the product description and the box will expand
  • fill in your name and email address
  • enter your rating from 1 to 5 stars
  • write your review then click “submit review”.

That’s it! Your email address won’t be collected by any 3rd parties.

As a thank you I will send you a single use 20% discount code to be used on anything in the shop before 11th January.
